Open Types |
OMD
have produced open type compressors
since 1932.
Today, OMD are able
to offer a complete range of compressor
models from 27.2 cm3 to 1865 cm3 designed
and constructed for use with HCFC
and HFC refrigerants.
These compressors are built using
the highest quality materials and
able to work in the most severe applications.
The compressors are designed to maximise
their efficiency and considerable
effort has been made into noise reduction.

Condensing Units |

In
order to complete their range of products
OMD offers a range of condensing units
with either semi-hermetic or open
compressors and with various types
of condenser:

vertical shell and coil water

Transport
|
|
Open compressors
of the T-transport range have been
designed specifically for mobile air
conditioning and refrigeration applications.
Bus air conditioning, refrigerated
transport, marine and endothermic
applications: these are the typical
applications for these compressors. |
Screw |
The
'V' range of screw compressors comprises
9 models with displacements from 137
to 785 m3/hr @ 50hz. All models can
be used with either HFC or HCFC refrigerants.
The compressors are designed with
a new 5:6 screw profile incorporating
balance piston design to greatly extend
bearing life. A huge range of accessories
and protection devices is available
( TSD Total Safety Design ). They
can be used for air conditioning,
refrigeration, chiller and heat pump
applications. Each compressor is subjected
to rigorous quality checks and tests
to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability. |
Hermetic |
| With
a large range of displacements from
5.2 to 88.4 m3/hr @ 50hz. the compressors
are able to satisfy most market requirements.
Leading European manufacturers have
used them for many years. The compressors
are ideal for use with R22 and R407C
refrigerants even in the harshest operating
environments such as railway or marine. |
